Eklingji a hindu temple complex in udaipur district of Rajasthan
History-: Eklingji Templet is one of the most famous templets of Rajasthan.

          According to the 15the century Ekalinga mahatmya. the original templet at Eklingji wa constructructed by the 8th century ruler Bappa Rawal. 
                                              Rana Kumbha rebuilt the temples in additon to constructing a Vishu Temple the original temple and murti were destroyed during invasions by the Dehli sultanate.
                  Kumbha son Rana Raimal defeated and captured him and obtained a reason for his release (1473,1509). the town comprises around 1.8 small and big temple. Eklingji is believed to be the ruling deity of Mewar pricely state.

Eevents 1- It was reparied and modified by various king to clean the remants of obliteration made by the attacks of Mahammedans.
2. the temple boasts of a striking four faced idel of Eklingji. that is make out of black marble.

  Eevents -: the fesitval of shivratri is observed here with full gusto and fervor.
